In this role, you will perform on site inspections at nuclear facilities, primarily commercial nuclear power plants. Following inspections, you will report your findings to industry leaders and plant management and owners.
A degree in a related technical field (health physics, chemistry, physics, environmental monitoring, etc.) is highly preferred. A minimum of five years of experience in the HP field is required. A certification in HP and/or NRRPT is extremely advantageous.
This position interfaces with external industry leaders, works as a key contributor within a team, as well as working independently.
The ability to travel and perform inspection work at commercial nuclear facilities is required. Travel is periodically needed; the average yearly travel is approximately 25-30%.
The position requires the ability to gain access to U.S. nuclear power plants and to be able to obtain minimum level U.S. government security clearance.
